  I'm generously giving this place a 3 star. Elk burger had no flavor, and was very dry. Sisters seafood platter was very skimpy for the price. Staff was inexperienced with the menu and rude. (could hear the cook complaining about our order) Overall a bad experience for a first time customer. Would not recommend

  STAY AWAY. Have never walked out do to the food being so bad. Only a 1 star because the beer was cold and soda was not flat. Ordered buffalo wings and out came burnt wing with zero salt or pepper or any seasoning. Kids chicken stips plate came out with only 1 burnt strip and a hand full of soggy fries. The fried zucchini look like mozzarella sticks and were so mushy and bad that we paid for drinks and walked out. The chef needs to be fired or forced to eat his own food. Nerver once have we walked out of a place and this was before our main came out. Felt sorry for the waiting staff. Staff was nice and worked with us. Did our best to not be rude with our dislike.

  The staff were nice and attentive, and certain elements of the meal were at least above average. I ordered the prime rib that they have advertised largely on the menu, indicating to me that this is a dish in which they take pride. The results begged to differ. I ordered my steak medium rare, but what I received was beige on the outside and raw in the middle, indicating that they probably slapped the steak in a warm pan for a couple minutes and called it good. If you're going to trumpet one particular cut, you should put some effort into it, at least, and hopefully show some proficiency. For the money, there are several places in town that at least would know how to sear a steak, and I'll be visiting them next time.
